ABOUT
I’m a vocal coach, singer-songwriter, independent artist, and human rights researcher dedicated to empowering people to connect with their most authentic voice, technically, emotionally, and artistically.
As a coach, I combine a strong scientific knowledge of vocal anatomy and function with creative, expressive exploration. My approach is rooted in both voice pedagogy and a deep sensitivity to individual needs, guiding singers in developing vocal health, expressive depth, and personal artistry.
Whether you’re here to build vocal strength, write your first song, find your unique sound, explore vocal effects, or connect more deeply with your voice, I offer a space where vocal fitness and emotional authenticity grow side by side. My goal is to help you thrive – not only as a singer, but as an artist and communicator.
I’m an authorised Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) teacher, having graduated from the Complete Vocal Institute in Denmark, the largest voice institute in Europe. I believe deeply in this method for its scientific foundation, pedagogical clarity, stylistic inclusivity and its empowering approach: it supports singers in shaping their own vocal path without aesthetic limitations or genre bias, always with respect for the cultural richness of the repertoires. CVT embraces all sounds, including “extreme” effects like distortion, rattle or grunt, and encourages experimentation across styles and expressive forms. Together with colleagues Martina Bovini and Micaela Bruno, I co-founded CVT Italia and translated the official CVT app into Italian, making this knowledge more accessible to Italian-speaking singers.
My work draws on an educational foundation in music and voice, and I am committed to continuous learning. I regularly participate in advanced training and specialized courses focused on voice, songwriting, music/voice production, and artist development.
My specialties and interests include:
• Complete Vocal Technique
• Voice health in singing and speaking
• Songwriting and creative voice use
• Interpretation, improvisation, and performance
• Music production and vocal recording
• Artist development and studio coaching
• Voice-body-emotion integration
• Gender-affirming voice training
The voice, to me, is one of the most intimate and powerful instruments we have. It’s invisible, yet it touches everything. Singing is both a carnal and spiritual act, a connection between body and meaning, self and others. That’s why I pay attention to vocal technique as well as expression, to developing your voice as both athlete and artist.
My own artistic path reflects this fusion. I grew up in the sunlit landscapes of Apulia, Italy, between the sea breeze and olive trees, and began painting stories with my voice at an early age. As I traveled across the world, my heart rooted in many places, eventually finding a home in Stuttgart, Germany.
I’ve explored various vocal techniques and a wide spectrum of genres: blues (my first love), soul, folk, rock, jazz, funk, alt-pop, experimental music, and more. I’ve written and released three self-produced albums and have been described by some music blogs as the pioneer of a new genre called Thera-Pop: a blend of therapeutic intention and avant-pop aesthetics. You can explore my work at francescapichierrimusic.com.
I’ve also collaborated on numerous independent music projects, gaining hands-on experience in live performance, recording sessions, and creative direction: skills I bring directly into my teaching, especially when working with emerging and independent artists.
I’m proud to be part of Renee Yoxon’s Trans Voice Teacher Directory and I offer inclusive, gender-affirming voice coaching to individuals across the gender spectrum.
As a vocal coach, I don’t see myself only as a guide, I see myself as a witness to the unique sound of each person. And that’s what I love most about this work. Whatever your goals, I’m here to help you grow, explore, and celebrate the voice that is, without a doubt, unmistakably yours.
